K-1 has a established itself as the most exciting form of kickboxing as it's been designed to produce a fast and exciting match to watch. Typically fought over 3 rounds of 3 minutes it has a reputation of producing very fast and very exciting action. There are no kick counts as found in main steam kickboxing and low kicks and one handed clinches are allowed along with striking with the knee.
