We have full Bar and catering facilities available as well as a wireless PA system covering all area's.
Sunday 16th November - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Open course with Pedro Bessa.

12.00 - 2.30pm. Gi Session. This session will cover traditional BJJ including locks, chokes, strangles and groundwork. Please note that Gi's must be worn.
Everyone is welcome to attend this course, especially anyone outside of Bristol Dojo. Cost £20.
Sunday 23rd & 30th November - Police Self Defence Course part 1 and 2.

10.00 - 1.00pm. Imperial Karate Senior Instructor & serving Police Officer Adrian Williams will be holding a 2 two part self defence course at Bristol Dojo. The course is open to everyone and will cover all aspects of self protection. Loose clothing is to be worn.
Over 15 years only!
Everyone is welcome to attend this course, especially anyone outside of Bristol Dojo. Cost £10 for 1 session pr £15 for both. Due to high demand you will need to book your place via Bristol Dojo.
Sunday 25th January 2009- Applied Karate Open course with Iain Abernethy.

One of the UK’s leading exponents of applied karate, Iain has written a number of critically acclaimed
books on the practical application of traditional martial arts and is well known for his work on the pragmatic use of the techniques and concepts recorded in the traditional kata. Iain’s seminars, books, DVDs and articles have proved to be very popular with those groups and individuals who wish to practise their arts as the pragmatic systems they were originally intended to be.
11.00 - 3pm. Applied Karate. Cost £25 per person.
This course is open to anyone who wishes to study the practical side to Karate. Students from other groups and associations will be made welcome.
Date to be confirmed- Kumite Course with Ticky Donovan O.B.E.

We are pleased to welcome England Team Manager Sensei Ticky Donovan OBE to Bristol Dojo. This will be Sensei Donovans first open course in Bristol for 15 years and everyone in the EKF and WKGB is welcome to attend.
Ticky will be covering some of the Kumite techniques used by the current England National Team. This is your chance to train with a British legend and current England team manager.
